Mission
To empower local communities through education and training, enabling them to adopt regenerative agriculture practices that enhance soil health and foster sustainability.
Objectives:
- Training and Education: Provide comprehensive training programs for local farmers and schools, empowering them with the knowledge and skills required for regenerative agriculture.
- Participatory Land-Use Planning: Encourage local communities to actively participate in land-use planning and decision-making, ensuring their ownership and engagement in sustainable practices.
- Indigenous Knowledge Integration: Integrate Indigenous knowledge systems into modern farming practices to leverage centuries of wisdom and insights from the local communities.
- Research and Tailored Solutions: Collaborate with researchers to tailor agricultural practices to the unique conditions of the Okavango Delta.
- Regenerative Agriculture and Rewilding: Implement regenerative agriculture techniques and rewilding initiatives to restore and preserve the ecosystem's biodiversity.

Our Community
At Okavango Regenerative Agriculture, we're proud to be a part of the community in Matsaudi, Maun - the gateway to the Okavango Delta. We work closely with other farmers and producers to promote local agriculture and support small businesses. We're developing educational workshops for schools and community groups to teach people about the importance of farming and sustainable agriculture. We also focus on growing indigenous tree seedlings for reforestation efforts.
Okavango Regenerative Agriculture is a Botswana citizen-owned Non-Profit Company (company limited by guarantee) based in the village of Matsaudi just outside of Maun, Botswana.
